The City Clerk is responsible for the following areas:
- BOA Public Hearings
- Municipal Elections
- Posting of Public Notices as required by law
- Custodian of official city records
- Custodian of subdivision trustee list
- Public record requests pursuant to the Missouri Sunshine Law
- Administers and maintains liquor, business, itinerant merchant, and vending licenses
- Maintains records and applications for the City's volunteer Boards and Commissions
- Provides administrative support for the Mayor and Board of Aldermen
