My education background
I have a Psychology degree. I'm certified through AFAA, NFPT and ISSA for Personal Training and as a Boot Camp instructor. I am a certified Yoga instructor (200 RYT) and Mat Pilates instructor through FiTour. My Pilates background also includes a certification through Stott Pilates. I have obtained several certifications such as PIYO Strength, R.I.P.P.E.D., IFTA Kickboxing and I have a red belt in Tae Kwon Do. I've enjoyed participating in Midwest Mania Fitness Conventions in both 2004 and 2005.
Why I Got Involved In Teaching Group Exercise
I started as a Personal Trainer and taught boot camps. I had the taste for group fitness so I got involved in both Pilates and Yoga which I absolutely love teaching. I enjoy helping people achieve a body mind connection and master techniques.
What Motivates Me To Stay In Shape
A healthy lifestyle has always been in my family, I stay motivated so I can motivate others.
Why My Class Is Unique
My class is unique because I make it fun and ensure participants are performing exercises the correct way. I teach technique and also try to comply with clients intentions.
