Are you a lifeguard looking to take the next step in certifications? This certification will allow you to teach basic-level American Red Cross Lifeguarding courses to others. Prior to registration, participants must possess a current basic-level certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED to be eligible to take the course. Proof of certification is required on the first day of class. Prior to the first in-person class session, participants must successfully complete the online Introduction to the Lifeguarding Instructor Course (this will be sent out 2 weeks before class starts). Saturday and Sunday classes will include a lunch break. The Lodge is an American Red Cross Authorized Provider for training courses. All courses are Pass/Fail and no exceptions can be made. There is an additional $40 registration fee that must be paid to the American Red Cross. Attendance at all sessions is mandatory for certification. Registration deadline is January 24.
