Sugar Creek Park
*Please note that the pedestrian bridge located along the eastern side of Sugar Creek Park (facing Des Peres Road) will be closed indefinately due to structural deterioration of the footings and aging infrastructure - originally constructed in 1975. Staff is actively exploring whether a complete replacement of the bridge is warranted based on a preliminary assessment of current conditions (still pending) or whether repairs will suffice. Please anticipate this closure as you plan your next visit to Sugar Creek Park by using the southern parking lot accessible from Dougherty Ferry Road. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience and look forward to having this resolved soon.*

Sugar Creek Park was acquired after the annexation of the southwest portion of the City of Des Peres. The 20 acre park became part of the City’s park system in 1975. A very active park located at Des Peres and Dougherty Ferry Roads, the park's small trail, playground, and ball fields are community favorites.
